Summer: Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, summer offers endless hiking options, vibrant city festivals, and warm and long days.

Traveling through Switzerland
You probably already heard a lot about the efficiency of public transport and punctuality in Switzerland. From our own experience, every bit of that story is true. We have never found such precise and efficient transport anywhere else and so far we have visited quite a few countries. Our first bit of advice for you is to get a Swiss Pass if you are visiting Switzerland. It’s one of the most expensive countries in Europe and this pass will make traveling through it far less expensive.
The main transport in Switzerland is trains and with Swiss Pass most of them are free and you can ride them as long as you like, reaching almost every corner of the country, each of the regions has its pass which makes transport in them free. For example, if you are visiting Lauterbrunnen, you would want to buy the Jungfrau Pass which makes most of the rides in the area free – cable cars, mountain trains, buses…
Switzerland is a country made for exploration. Our second suggestion would be to rent a car while visiting it. Renting a car and combining it with the regional pass is a great combination. Although you can reach almost any place by public transport, you might want to have additional freedom which renting a car offers you.
Swiss Travel Pass also provides free or discounted access to many museums and numerous other attractions which is Switzerland full of. When traveling through this country, make sure you avoid rush hours for the best possible experience.
